Disney bound.......

We came home from church today and packed, packed, packed!! We leave in the morning for Disney World and could not be more excited! The kids are so excited to get to see where "Mickey and Minnie live!" Lots and lots of pics to come!!!!

Seeing Santa

This year, I think Reese "get's" the idea of Santa Clause. We've talked about him time and time again, and she's been so excited to get to see Santa and tell him all the many things she hopes to get come Christmas Day. Charlie is still unsure, probably because of age mostly, but also, he's not too keen on sitting with strangers. When we got to Santa and they saw him, everything seemed fine.......
Reese told us over and over, "I'm going to give him a great big hug!".......and that she did!!!

Charlie man.......not what he had hoped for. He was horrified.....just like last year. Oh well, so much for a good picture of the two of them with Santa! Maybe in 2011!!

Notice Reese is still as happy as ever!!

So we got Charlie and let Reese have her time with him! She told him she wanted a dollhouse and a pink pillow (I'm ok with the dollhouse, but what's with the pink pillow????)
Way to go Reese......you're getting to be such a big girl!!

Elf Time!!

Our Elf, "Will" arrived last night! Reese decided his name would be Will (still not sure why?), but nonetheless, that's his name. He arrived last night and the kids love him.....well, Charlie is still not real sure about him, but Reese LOVES him. We explained to them that Will would be watching them and reporting to Santa whether or not they were behaving like they should. It actually is a really good way to make them be "sweet" to each other. Will sits on our fireplace and watches them during the day. This morning, when they woke up, Will was eating apple jacks in Reese's chair -- they thought this was hilarious. We'll see how many fun things Will get's done this Christmas season......I love Christmas time!!!

Will rang the doorbell and Reese and Charlie found him on the front porch!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had as wonderful a Thanksgiving as we did this year.....we have MUCH to be thankful for!! We spent ALL day at my mom and dad's this year, got to go visit with my grandmother, and ate more turkey and dressing and fudge cake than any human being should ever consume......a perfect day!!!!

we spent a lot of time outside at Mimi and Poppa's.....the kids love to blow on "blowers" and watch the seeds float off.....this occupied them for a LONG time!!

Playdate

There is nothing better in the world than time spent with best friends. Today, since Jenn is out for Thanksgiving break, we got the kids together and had a playdate! Anything that has a jump-eroo involved is a hit with my kids, followed by a yummy lunch equals a fun filled afternoon ending with 2 very exhausted kiddos!

I know this pic is blurry, I had to use my backup camera, but it was so cute seeing Reese and Avery slide down this HUGE slide together. They must have slid down this thing 100 times!

Time to go!!

Looking Like Christmas Time.....

One day last week, Reese woke up and told me she "needed to go to the mall".....I asked her what for, and she replied, "to look at toys and ride the carousel!" It just so happened to be a yucky day outside, so we met daddy for lunch and did just that. They already have the carousel turned into "Christmas Carousel" complete with reindeer to ride on, snow, lights and Grandma got Run Over by a Reindeer playing on the loudspeaker! It's a little early for all this Christmas stuff just yet, but the kids had a blast! Time to get in the Christmas Spirit!!

Thanksgiving at Gigi's

We celebrated Thanksgiving this past weekend with Gigi. The kids had such a good time and the food was yummy!! The kids played outside most of the time, it was such a beautiful day.
They climbed on fences......
They climbed trees.......

they hugged trees.......

we jumped off porches......

more jumping.....

they played golf.......

and kicked balls.......

needless to say, they were exhausted when we left!!!
Happy Thanksgiving Gigi!!

Miss Priss's Stats......

Reese and Charlie had their check ups this past week and here are her stats:
Height: 36" (25%)
Weight 30lb (50%) -- we have come so far, yayyyyy!!
She did so good at her check up. They stop doing head circumference measurements once you turn 3, they check blood pressure instead, and she sat perfectly still and cooperated just like a big girl. Everything looks great except her big ol' murmur.....nothing we were surprised to hear. We go back in May to be re-evaluated by her cardiologist and expect her to have surgery in June. She had to have one shot, which was quite the ordeal, but other than that, she is absolutely perfect and growing just as she should!!

Little Man's Stats.....

Charlie had his two year old check up and here are his stats.....he's measuring up to be quite the perfect little man!! =)
Height: 34 3/4" (60%)
Weight: 31lb (80%)
Head Circum: 20 (90%)
Everything looked really well, he only had to have one shot (which was NO fun), and he's as perfect as ever!!!

Picture Time!!

It's a shame I'm just now getting these photos on the blog....we had Christmas pictures taken back in October (the Christmas one's are a surprise for Christmas cards, so you can't see those just yet!!), but we took along a couple extra outfits for the kiddos and got some pretty cute shots of them. It was a gorgeous day for pics and Kim got lots of great ones......can't wait for you to see the Christmas ones -- they are C.U.T.E.!!

Together......

Just Charlie....

Just Reese......

Beautiful Saturday's

Today is such a beautiful day in our little town, so we decided to take full advantage of the warm weather and make it a bike day! We loaded up the kiddos this morning and went on a bike ride, took the kids to the playground and then had lunch outside -- PERFECT day! Here is little Miss Priss riding her big girl bike.....she is doing so good on it! I love beautiful Saturday's with family!
