Disney World!!!

We are going to Disney World! Yayyyyy! We have booked our hotel and made all our dinner "character dining" reservations! I'm not sure who's more excited.....the kids, or me and Joe! We are going the Monday after Thanksgiving and it can't get here fast enough!!!! Oh the cute Disney outfits.....someone is going to have to stop me!!!!!!

Playtime!!

We went to an indoor playground today and the kids had a blast. I'll do anything to stay outta the 100 degree heat!!

Charlie is cutting his 2yr molars and walks around with his fingers in his mouth CONSTANTLY....my germ-o-meter is in overload! You should see me chasing him around trying to keep his hands clean......exhausting.

After they played and played, we took them to McDonald's to have lunch. This particular McDonald's had an indoor playground, so they played some more! Is it necessary to say they will take a good nap today??!!!??!!!

Happened so fast!!

Today was the last day of the kiddos summer MDO. Sure going to miss that little bit of free time I had every Tuesday and Thursday......

But these two sweeties are worth losing that free time......

Are they not so dang cute you just wanna kiss 'em????!!!!?!!!

I Jump

I have been trying to decide what I wanted to do for the kids birthday party this year. I want to have another joint birthday party (going to try and get away with that as long as I can!), and trying to find a "gender neutral" party place suitable for small children can become quite tedious. I had taken the kids to I Jump once before, but they were much smaller, so I thought I would give it another whirl and they LOVED it this time! Reese played so hard she was sweating! It is perfect for their age and I think they will have a fun, fun time and their friends will too! Here's some pics of all the action today!!

Pretty Toes and a Cheering Crew

and cheered her on! Then I had to convince him that little boys don't paint their toenails....that was a hard lesson for him, but I think Joe would kill me if he came home and Charlie had pink toenails!!

He was ok with just cheering Reese on anyways!!!

My sweet Charlie man has been doing wonderfully in MDO this summer. He has taken a great liking to one of his teachers, Mrs Kim, and she is wonderful, I might add. All of the teachers that Reese and Charlie have had at MDO have been really good, but Mrs Kim seems to go above and beyond for her little friends. Charlie is now singing his ABC's all the way from start to finish, knows most of his primary colors, and can count from 1 to 10. Once we get to 11, we skip to 15, back to 12, on to 18, well, you get the picture, we still have some work to do!! Anyways, he's been doing really well and I love his school!! Today when I went to pick Charlie up, his teacher gave all the mom's these pictures of their child......

.....I LOVE it!! It's Charlie's little side profile, and if you look closely, you can see she added Charlie's little eyelashes and even a little hair sprout on top. And she's so sweet, she pulled me aside and told me she was doing one for Reese and would give it to me next week......my gosh I love her!! I will post pictures of Reese's next week.....thank you Mrs Kim, we LOVE you!!!

Weekend at the Lake

We went to the lake this weekend for quick little get away. Jennie, Ingram and Scarlett came with us and we had such a good time. We had great weather (no rain), and the kids went tubing for the first time!! We enjoyed some pool time and had an all around relaxing weekend. Wish we could have more weekends like this!!!

Reese and Charlie's Gigi can paint wonderfully, and that's putting it lightly. I found this picture of an angel holding a lamb in a magazine and fell in love with it. I asked Patti if she could paint it for Reese to put over her bed and look how beautiful it turned out.....

I am in absolute, total love with it and I cannot thank you enough Patti! This will be something that Reese can have forever! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Now I've gotta think of something for you to paint my little buddy!! =)

Ready for Dance Class!!

We signed Miss Thing up for dance classes this fall with her friends. I have started to buy her leotards and tutu's to wear and she LOVES playing in them.....does she not make the most precious ballerina ever??? We are so excited to start next month!!!

Slip N Slide

Me and My Daddy.....

It's that time of year again, the Tour de la France is on and Joe is obsessed with watching it. This year, he has a buddy. Charlie stays right with Joe whenever he get's the chance and watching this super fascinating (yea right) event on TV is no different......look how intense Charlie looks in the second picture. He was really into it, believe it or not!!

Pool Playdate

On Wednesday, we had a playdate at the pool with Reese's little friends. It's next to impossible to get them to stop playing and actually take a picture for you. Reese and Mary Kate are standing with somewhat of a smile, Kate is floating off to the side a little bit and Adelaide is behind Reese floating.....oh well, at least we gave it a shot!!! They had fun and that's what counts, right?!!
