Happy Easter!

Happy Happy Easter! The Easter Bunny stopped by our house this year and the kiddos were delighted with all the fun gifts he left. We can't keep Charlie off his new scooter and I've played Candy Land more times than I can count.....fun, fun times!!

Easter Egg Hunt at Church

The Easter Egg Hunt at Church was their 3rd hunt this year, so I wasn't sure they would really get into it......I was wrong. They both scurried around the Church lawn gathering as many eggs as they could! We have lots of sweet friends at Church, so that makes it all the more fun. Now onto Mimi and Poppa's for another hunt!!

This is an attempt to get all our "supper club" kids on the steps for a picture. We have supper club once a month with a few of the Church families, and this is the majority of the kids involved, so I think we did a pretty good job!!!

Easter at Mimi and Poppa's

Happy Easter! We had Easter lunch and our annual Easter egg hunt at Mimi and Poppa's house this Sunday. The food was awesome and the kiddos were a hoot this year! Reese really got into hunting for eggs this year, she's saving up money in her piggy bank, and she loves chocolate, so it was a win win situation when she found an egg!! Charlie could really care less about the eggs, he just wanted to play and run around the yard with his basketball! The kids got Easter baskets from Mimi and Poppa, Kristen and Aunt Shelia and everyone WAY outdid themselves with the gifts and we are so thankful for all of it! Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful family!!

Our sweet neighbor came and asked if Reese could come play for a little while today......Reese happily took the offer, she will never turn down play time! Josie Kate got a new playhouse and could not wait to show Reese.....they had such a good time playing "pizza delivery" outside today! Thank you Julie for taking this picture for me!!!!

Waterfalls and a Little Hiking!

Joe was off work yesterday for Good Friday, so we took full advantage and had a family day. It was such a great day to be outside, we took the kids hiking and even got to play in a waterfall! There were more rocks to throw than you can imagine, which makes for two busy kiddos and time for Mommy and Daddy to sit back and relax!! Such a fun day!!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday we went to our annual Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had such a good time. There were LOTS of kiddos running around and LOTS of Easter eggs to be found. We have talked and talked about hunting for eggs this year, it's something that they have really been looking forward too! After lots of chocolate, pizza and loads of playtime, we loaded up on our bikes and headed home!! What a great way to start off Holy Week!!

The Kitchen is Finished!!!

After 6 long weeks of living out of our basement in a "make-do" environment, we finally have our house back!! Our kitchen is complete, and life is grand! We are so happy with the way everything turned out. It was a long 6 weeks, and I'm not sure I'd do it again, but I'm glad it's over and done with now! Thank you Chuck for making our kitchen beautiful!!

Happy 1st Birthday Elizabeth!

Today we went to Elizabeth's first birthday party and the kids had a blast. There was lots to do, jump-a-roo's, tricycles, scooters, swing sets, pinatas, bubbles, it was a kids dream world! It's hard to believe little Elizabeth is one.......sigh. Where or where does the time go? Happy Birthday sweet girl, we had so much fun celebrating with you!!!
