Day 3

Wednesday, we went to Epcot for the day. We had lunch reservations at Akershus with the Princesses and OH. MY. GOODNESS. It was wonderful. My favorite character lunch of the trip by far!! The food was wonderful, the princesses were wonderful, the atmosphere was great, and little Reese was so excited to meet and see all the "pretty princesses!" We slept in late since we were up until 1am from the Christmas Party the night before, so we didn't even get to Epcot until right at 12pm for our reservation. Epcot was definitely not our favorite park, not a whole lot the kids could do there -- they loved the Nemo ride and the Seas of Norway, but other than that, it was mostly just walking around looking at different "worlds"......

We got to meet and greet with Belle when we walked in. Reese got to get her picture "professionally" made with her and they gave it to her to take home!

Reese kept telling Cinderella she "had her carriage on her shirt!"

I thought Sleeping Beauty was so pretty......Reese loved her because she "had on pink!"

Aerial is Reese's favorite. She kept telling her, "I have a flower in my hair just like you!" So sweet!

After lunch, we went on to explore Epcot......

I don't know what it was about these phone booths, but Joe loved them. He insisted on me taking their picture with them. These were in Germany.......can you see Joe in there??!!??!!

Next, we were on to the Animal Kingdom for their extended hours. We took the kids to DinoLand to play and ride a few rides......we stayed until around 8pm and then had dinner at Rainforest Cafe (yummy!!!)

There was a long line to see Pluto, and Reese wanted to see him. I told her it was too late and we were too tired to wait......this is the face I got!

Mickey's Christmas Party

On Tuesday night, we went back to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. There was a parade and fireworks and all the rides in the MK were open. The kids loved the parade and getting to meet Mickey and Minnie again. The MK stayed open until 12am again and we didn't leave until they closed.....exhausted! We got to ride the Barnstormer again (we actually stayed on it several times and rode without getting off because there was no line), the Toy Story ride (again and again -- it was their favorite!), the carousel, it's a small world, Peter Pan's Flight, the Pooh Bear Ride, etc. It was such a fun night. By the time we got back to the hotel, both the kiddos were so sleepy. We slept in until 10am the next morning!!! Fun, fun, fun!!!

Joe was so proud of them for riding without crying. I thought for sure Charlie would cry, they were both just tall enough to ride (35" tall), and the roller coaster actually climbed a little hill and went quite fast. Reese squealed the entire ride and Charlie just held on real tight and laughed.....

Day 2

On Tuesday, we had reservations to have breakfast with Minnie, Goofy and Donald at Cape May. The kids were super pumped to see them, we had talked about it and talked about it, so when they realized we weren't kidding about them being there, live and in the flesh, they could hardly contain their excitement!!

Minnie had a seat at our booth and played with them for a bit.....it was such a cute moment to see!!

After breakfast, we went back to the resort for some pool time. Tuesday was our warmest day, so we thought we should take full advantage of the awesome pool......

Day 1

So we're home from Disney and we had a wonderful, magical time!!! We saw lots and lots of Mickey and Minnie, every Princess you could imagine and managed to ride all the rides we loved the most, multiple times. Reese and Charlie had a blast. It is so special to see them have such a good time.....something about watching all that we saw and did through their eyes makes it so much more memorable. I would say this was hands down one of our favorite trips so far. There are too many pictures to post, so I'll post some of my favorites from each day. On the first day, we had to be at the airport bright and early. Our flight left at 8:20am, so that meant getting the kids up at 5:45am, which is NO FUN for anyone!! They were surprisingly in a good mood and ready to go! Once we got landed, got to the resort and checked into our room, we unpacked and headed to the Magic Kingdom for some fun. It just so happened that the MK was having their extended hours on Monday night, which meant they were open until 12am for guest staying at the resort, so we stayed and played late! We got to ride almost all of the rides in the "toddler friendly" areas in just a few hours. Their were little to no lines and the weather was wonderful. I forgot my camera (sniff, sniff), so I have no pics from the first night in the park, but it was a lot of fun. I've ordered my PhotoPass from Disney and hope to get it soon.....it has some pics of that first night we spent there, so I'll at least have some memories!! The kids favorite rides were Goofy's Barnstormer and the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear ride......super fun!!

We LOVED the resort. We had a great room and were so close to the animals. It was so neat to wake up and walk out and see a giant giraffe, zebras, antelopes, etc grazing right in front of you......beautiful.

This is the only pic I have of the night.....Charlie couldn't make it all night, he passed out in the stroller on the way home from the Magic Kingdom.....sleepy little guy!

HOME!!

We are finally home and we are E.H.X.A.U.S.T.E.D., but we had a wonderful trip and I have hundreds of pictures to sort through and post!! We LOVE Disney!!!!
