Avery's Birthday Party

On Sunday afternoon after Church, we had Avery's 3rd Birthday Party. Reese and Charlie are sucker's for jumperoo's, so they of course had a blast!! This was the final birthday cake of the weekend!!! Happy Birthday Avery!!

Reese on the BIG girl slide.....this slide was probably 12 or 15 feet -- I thought she wouldn't do it again after seeing her poor terrified face, but she LOVED it and did it many, many, more times (even went head first at one point!!)

When we got home, she could hold her eyes open no more!! This is so rare and such a cherished moment, we had to take turns....

so sweet!! Charlie caught a quick nap on the way home and was fully energized up until bedtime....what a weekend!!

Playing Outside

We've been playing outside a LOT lately and the kids have formed themselves a little ritual. They will play and play until they are slap worn out, then they want a Capri Sun and to sit at their picnic table.....nothing makes them happier!!

Charlie's 18month stats!

My sweet Charlie man had his 18mo check up this morning. He is growing wonderfully and is right on track developmentally. His weight has WAY slowed down.....so much so, that Dr. W went back to make sure we were measuring right. He is finally slimming down and is not such a butterball!! Here's how he measured up today:

Weight: 27.7lbs (75%)

Height: 34in (90%)

HC: 19 1/4 (90%)

No shots today, we've got the same "yuck" cold that Reese has, so we started Amoxil today. We are WAY behind, so I've gotta get us caught up on that soon.....so proud of you Charlie! Mommy and Daddy LOVE you!!!!!

Reese's Last Day of MDO

Today was Reese's last day of MDO (sniff, sniff). They had a LOT of activities today for the end of the year celebration. They had a jumperoo and a HUGE blow up slide outside and the kids got to play with sidewalk chalk and do all sort of outdoor activities. Reese has no idea what it means to be your "last day," she was just happy to get to have a party!! Thanks Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Betsy.....we will miss you!!!!

Happy 30th to me......

On Tuesday, we had my birthday party with mom and dad and Kristen. We ate at Cheesecake Factory and then had yummy cake from Olexa's. I got lots of great presents and a new "mini" camera to take with me when I go on my girls trip here in a few weeks. Thanks for everything family.....I LOVE YA'LL SO MUCH!!!

Ring Around the Rosie

Reese and Charlie have been playing "Ring around the Rosie" a lot lately. It's something we've been doing for a while now and they've just now caught on enough to do it by themselves. It's so sweet to hear their little voices sing the song!!

My sweet little man can count to 5!!! He is literally growing up right before my very eyes and although I am so thankful that my children are healthy and growing as they should, I sure would like for time to slow down!! He has been counting to three, but last night he went to 5 all by himself. We jumped and cheered and he was so proud of himself!! Yayyyy, Charlie man!!
