Merry Christmas Joe and Tiffany!

Every year, before we go to my mom's house for Christmas Eve, Joe and I swap gifts with each other. This year, Reese and Charlie opened all our gifts! We had such a good Christmas and are so blessed. Joe was so excited and surprised to open his gift.....his big gift was a Daniel Moore print of the National Championship with our ticket from the game framed underneath it. He was super excited -- it looks great in his "man den!" He got me a watch I had been patiently waiting for for a LONG time!! It's so pretty!!!

doesn't Reese look thrilled?!?!?!

Bye Will!

On Christmas Eve, Will went back to the North Pole to be with Santa until next year. The kids woke up and had one last gift from him before he left. Reese has told me everyday since then. "I'm going to go get that Will at the North Pole and bring him back!" They had so much fun with him this Christmas season. See you next year Will!!!

Reese's Christmas Swap

On Monday, Reese and a couple of her little friends had a Christmas party where they baked cookies and exchanged gifts with each other. It was so cute!! They had a beauty shop going, complete with dress up and and makeup. It is so cute watching them "straighten" their hair, put on perfume, wear high heels, etc. Lot's of little diva's in the making!!!! Reese got lots of cute gifts and cookies to bring home. She has not quit bragging to Charlie about the entire thing, which made for a few fights.....lucky for us, Gigi took Charlie to the store and got him a new ball and a fireman's hat to keep him happy! Thanks for having us over Allison!!!

Christmas At Barry and Susan's

We had Christmas at my Aunt Susan and Uncle Barry's house this past weekend. It was such a good time-- great food and great company!! The kids had a blast playing with cousin Lennon, and Josh got the kids HUGE Christmas balloons that were the biggest hit of the night. My kids are so confused about Christmas so far.....they've gotten a present every day for almost a week now. Reese wake's up every day asking for presents! Hurry up Christmas Day!!!

We Have Glasses.......

So we had to put my sweet little Reese in glasses. For about a month now, Joe and I have noticed that she has been squinting quite a bit, turning her head to one side to look out of one eye, and it gradually was getting worse and worse. I made an eye doctor appointment when we got back from Disney World and it was confirmed that she is farsighted. It has been such a hard pill for me to swallow. I cried for several days and went through all the "why her" emotions, then, I got myself together and began to realize how fortunate we are. Joe and I are so blessed with two healthy children, and if farsighted is what Reese is, and it's something that can be corrected, then it's fine. I don't think any mother wants their child to have to deal with such a "big girl" issue at such a young age, but Reese has handled this with such grace and ease, it's put me to rest. When we came home and she had her glasses on for the first time, she said, "look mommy, I can see the TV." Break. My. Heart. I had NO idea that she couldn't see the TV or I would have for sure gotten it fixed. She is so precious in her new glasses. She picked out her frames and lenses all by herself and she wears them with no problems. We will go back for regular check-ups often, and the doctor said her prescription will only decrease from this point, hopefully one day, to nothing but reading glasses. My sweet Reese, you are such a precious angel and we are so proud of you for being such a big girl during all of this.....you never stop teaching your mommy-- I am so glad you're mine!!

Reese's Dance Preview.....

We had Reese's Dance Preview Recital on Wednesday and it was oh so cute! We had quite the crowd there to cheer her on, Joe, Charlie and I were there, and Mimi & Poppa and Gigi -- I was so nervous that she wouldn't "perform" for us, but I was WRONG! She seriously did each and every move the teacher wanted them do. I was so proud. Before the program, we had Kate and Adelaide over to eat pizza and get in our leotards and tutus. While us "mommy's" were cleaning up and getting ready to go, we heard a lot of squealing and hooting and hollering! We RAN upstairs and this is what we found......
4 little Monkey's jumping on the bed!!
These little monkey's had all climbed into Charlie's bed and were jumping and squealing like you have never heard!!!

Our pretty ballerina's
Before the recital started, Mrs. Cindy had the girls go into the class and 'warm up' and prepare for us.....Charlie heard all the little tap shoes and the tiny squeals of 12 little girls and could not wait to get in!!
let me in!!!!

shake it girl......shake it!!

this is when they were dancing to "Who Let the Dogs Out".....seriously it was so funny, I thought I would wet my pants!! Reese was shaking that booty like a professional!!!
