Disney World Day 4

Day 4 was spent at Epcot and Downtown Disney. We slept in because of the extended hours the night before, and it was nice to have a little bit of time that morning to "lay low." We had a lunch reservation with the Princesses', which was the girls favorite by far!! I love Epcot -- it gets a bad rap sometimes, but my favorite ride in all of Disney is there -- Soarin. The kids were able to ride it this year, which was really neat and they loved it! We also loved Spaceship Earth, the Nemo ride, Living with the Land and margaritas in Mexico!! We left around 5 and headed home to change and then we caught the ferry boat to Downtown Disney. It was a blast -- we had dinner there and then headed home! Disney World Day 3

Day 3 was spent at the Animal Kingdom! It's one of my favorites! We started off with another character meal -- this time, breakfast with Donald at the Tusker House (it's my favorite of all!). The kids got a lot of time with the characters and did a cute little march around the restaurant. We saw the Lion King live show and Charlie was selected to be in the show.....it was so cute! We also did the Animal Safari (awesome), saw It's Tough to be a Bug, Went to Dino Land and played lots of arcade games and ate at Rainforest Cafe for dinner. It was a low key night so we decided to let the kiddos swim. The hotel had an amazing pool and water slide and it kept the kids entertained for hours. Disney World Day 2

On Day 2 we went to the Magic Kingdom. We started off with breakfast at Chef Mickeys-- the best! The kids were so excited to see all the characters and it was a great way to start off our day! MK had their extended hours on Monday, so it worked out to where we could ride everything that day. The barnstormer was a big hit, Charlie and Reese LOVED Big Thunder Railroad and Splash Mountain, we did the Jungle Cruise and the Toy Story Ride  and loved Ariels Undersea Adventure. We stayed in the park until 11pm and got to see the fireworks show at the Castle -- Disney World is the most magical place on earth!!!!



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Disney World Day 1

I am so behind on my blogging -- this could take a while!! We just got back from a trip to Disney World with some of our best friends and we had a BLAST! We did everything Disney has to offer and then some. The kiddos were so worn out at the end of our trip -- they were all such troopers, they did not get to bed before 11pm a single night we were there. Whew.

The first day, we caught a flight bright and early, like 6:30a.m. early, and made it to Hollywood Studios by lunch! They were having their extended hours that night, so we got to do everything the park had to offer! We saw Jake, Handy Manny, saw a Disney Jr Live show, rode a Star Tours ride and Charlie even rode the Tower of Terror -- yikes! It was a successful Day one!!

Happy Birthday Poppa!!

We celebrated Poppa's Birthday just before Reese's......their birthday's are only one day apart! We went to Mimi and Poppa's house and had a yummy dinner and yummy cake! Happy Happy Birthday Poppa -- we love you lots!!!

 

Charlie can finally write his name all by himself -- I am so proud!!!

My Baby is FIVE!!

How is my baby 5 years old already? Oh time, please slow down! Reese turned 5 in true diva fashion last week. She was out of school for Veteran's Day, so we were able to celebrate all day! Mimi took off work to celebrate with us and we had such a fun day. We took the kids to Build a Bear and saw lots of sweet friends at the mall, then that night, we had a family birthday party. She got lots of fun gifts and had a super yummy cake. She wanted pizza for dinner, and that made the party SUPER easy!! Reese Lynn, mommy and daddy are so thankful for you, you make my heart smile and I truly love you more than you will ever know. We are so proud of you and all that you are becoming -- you light up our lives!! Thanks to everyone for coming out to help us celebrate our sweet Reese!!
