Day 5

On Friday we had to be at the Animal Kingdom for a character breakfast. We had breakfast reservations at 10:15 at Tusker House, which turned out to be one of my greatest moves of the trip. It was the last breakfast seating of the morning and the characters are only there for breakfast, so we got LOTS of one on one time with all the characters, which the kids loved. Each time they see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, etc., it's as if it's the first time. I don't think they would ever get tired of hanging out with them! On the way to our breakfast we ran into the Jungle Book characters (not sure of their names). The gorilla LOVED Reese. He would not let her go, and when she would escape he would chase after her. It was so funny and cute! We also got to see the Tree of Life (beautiful), ride the choo choo train, and go on an African safari! The kiddos were both pooped by the end of the day and took a VERY good, long nap in the stroller. By day 5, we could tell they were almost completely worn out.....too much fun!!

When we arrived, we got our picture made "professionally" with Donald. Then we of course got suckered into buying the "package deal" of pictures......i'm such a sucker for pictures!!

After breakfast was through, they gave the kids musical shakers and had them follow all the characters around the restaurant......

When we left Tusker house, we headed to the African safari......it was so much fun!
