Happy 8 months Mia!!

So my sweet baby turned 8mo old while we were at the lake. I had to cheat a little and get her picture in her chair before we left!! She is doing something new everyday now and is oh so busy. She claps for herself when you say "yay" and loves to blow raspberries when she is trying to be funny! She still say's "ma ma ma ma" all the time and has just now mastered waving bye bye! Her top tooth broke through (#3) and the 4th is on the way. She hasn't been fussy with her teeth so far and still is sleeping good. She eats breakfast, lunch and dinner like a champ and still nurses in between. She's a total Mommy's girl and I love it!! She WILL NOT sit still anymore and is SO close to crawling!! Love you sweet Mia -- you melt your mommy's heart!!

Memorial Day at the Lake

We had such a fun, long, weekend at the Lake! This was Mia's first trip and she loved it! She is going to be a water-loving baby!! We got to go and spend Saturday with Brent, Lauren, Paul and Rachel and let the kiddos play all day. They were WORN OUT Saturday night. Poor Charlie man can't get on a boat without falling asleep -- EVERY single time we put that boy on a boat, it's lights out!! Thank you PawPaw and Lala for letting us spend Memorial Day with you guys -- we will miss our wine chats watching the moon and the water this week -- love you guys!!

......that "princesses' don't wear t-shirts to bed?!" Mommy is behind on laundry from a long weekend at the lake and someone is NOT happy. Have I mentioned I can hardly wait until she is 14? Lord help me.

My Tiny Dancer

Reese had her dance recital today and I could not be more proud of her! She did so well. She marched her little honkey out on that stage and danced every move she could right on cue! They danced to the song "Lollipop, Lollipop" and it was precious. One day I'll figure out how to upload a video on here to share with all you lucky readers! Ha! Reese Lynn, we're so proud of you pretty girl! You are such a beautiful ballerina!! Love you lots!!

School's Out!!

Our school year has come to an end! The kids were thrilled, and I'm a little depressed! Ha! We have had such a wonderful year this year. Wonderful teachers, lots of new experiences and we've made lots of new friends. Both my kiddos had some of the BEST TEACHERS out there. I was so pleased this year and they have learned so so much. We got Reese's school picture back today (Charlie will get one when he is in 3K next year!!) and I had to take a picture of it to post -- it brought tears to my eyes when I looked at it. They all look like such "big kids" to me. Life is marching by way too fast. I feel like they were just crawling around the house just yesterday. Reese and Charlie, we are so very proud of you and the "big kids" that you are becoming. We love you more than you'll ever know!!!

Sweet Mia

My sweet Mia is a new woman after her tubes. She is feeling so much better. Thank you Lord for modern medicine!! She has made big strides this week. We are OH SO close to crawling and she wants to soooooo bad. It will not be long! She started saying "ma ma ma" this week. It's the sweetest thing to hear. If I walk by and don't pick her up, she'll start whining, "ma ma ma" until I pick her up! Also, when she wakes up in the morning, she call me. Melts my heart. Both Reese and Charlie said "da da" long before saying ma ma, so I'm a touch proud of her!!  She also started eating puffs and yogurt melts this week -- she's in love with them!! She can wave bye bye when she really thinks about it and her favorite thing to do is to "blow bubbles" at you. She is going to be such a busy baby. She will hardly sit still for me anymore.  Time is going by too quick with her -- I LOVE this age!!!!

I know everyone says this, but I truly do have the best momma on the planet! I don't go a day without thanking God for my sweet Momma, I know I would not be who I am today if it were not for her. She is a precious gift and I am eternally grateful for her and all she does for me and my babies. Momma, I hope you had a wonderful day -- thank you for being you and loving me so much! Melt my Heart

I always love getting the kids Mother Day gifts from school. They are my favorite because the kids had a part in their making and they are so proud! This year the kids were so excited to give me their "homemade" gifts. Love you two more than you'll ever know and it's such a blessing to be your mommy!

Mia's Tubes

Mia got tubes in both ears this morning and she did wonderful!! She was the first patient taken back because of her age. She went back at 6:40am and we were home at 7:30am!! Talk about fast! We got home before R and C even woke up! Sweet baby did so good. Dr. M said her ears were yucky, but he cleaned them out very well and she should be as good as new! We will give her drops for 3 days and then hopefully, (fingers crossed), we will be ear infection free for a LONG time!! When they first brought her out to me once she was finished, she was so mad. I could not get her to stop crying. It was pitiful. After about 15minutes she settled down and went to sleep. Not sure if it was the anesthesia or just pain, but she was so so mad. I've never heard her cry like that. Since we've gotten home, she's been great. No fussing and eating and sleeping just fine. Reese and Charlie were so happy to hear she did good this morning. Mia probably got 200 kisses from each of them when they ran down the stairs and saw her! So sweet! Great job sweet Mia!!
