Feeling better!!

A smile we haven't seen in days!!

Joe took off work a half day yesterday to help me take care of Reese and Charlie. By the end of the afternoon she seemed to be feeling a little better and we decided maybe getting out and riding in the wagon would help.....her smile is worth a million words!! She loved it. We are still feeling better today -- no throw up in 24 hours, yayyyyyy!!!

We are soooooo sick.....

Poor Reese has been so sick for the past 2 days. She has the throw-up bug and has been running fever. This is the first time she has really been sick in all her 14mo of life (pretty good, huh?). I don't know who's taking it harder, her or Mimi!!! Thank the good Lord for Mimi -- she has been a lot of help to me these past few days....let's just say a prayer that Charlie doesn't get the same thing. I don't know what I'll do with 2 sick babies =(

We decided to let Charlie try out the Bumbo seat -- and yes, it's pink, it was his sisters!! -- he did pretty good!! We still need to work on head control a little bit, but he did good. He could see Reese and he thought that was funny. She isn't going to let him do anything without her, so of course she was right there the whole time!! He is such a sweet baby.......oh how I love these two!

Check up time!!

Charlie had his check up today. He is 12 weeks old now!!! He weighed in at a whopping 15lbs 12oz (that's off the chart by the way!!!), and is 25 inches long (95%). He is doing so good. He had to get a shot and he didn't even flinch! I think it was a bigger deal to me than it was to him!! Nurse Jennie did a wonderful job --- thanks girl!!! (Can you see her little pudge??? She is 18wks pregnant ~ yayyyyyyyy!!!)

Bath time at our house is one of the most fun times of the day......Reese LOVES to play in the bathtub. Here she is in her new toddler towel -- so sad, she's outgrown the baby towels =(

The Tennessee Aquarium

We stopped at the Tennessee Aquarium to help break down the trip.....

The penguins were both of our favorite!!!

See the butterfly? It landed right on the stroller in the butterfly exhibit -- shocker, Charlie slept through it all!!!

We made it back! Wilderness at the Smokies is wonderful. If you want to get away for a short little trip that is not too far away, this is the place -- we are going to make this our new tradition. Reese and Charlie did so good. By the time the trip was over, Reese was so exhausted she slept the whole trip home -- about 4 1/2 hours!!

Joe and I are going on a much needed "mini vacation" with the kids. We are leaving today and going to the Tennessee Aquarium. Then on Monday we are headed to Gatlinburg. We are going to stay at Wilderness at the Smokies -- a giant indoor waterpark ---- and if anyone knows me well, they know I love waterparks!!! I hope to have lots of cute pictures when we get back!

Joe and I had a very laid back New Years this year. We went to our friends house and had dinner and let all the kids play together. We didn't even get to watch the ball drop because the kids had to come home and get to bed......big change from the "old days!!!" Hope everyone had a good one!!!
