Bowling!!

Since the kids are out of MDO, my main goal has been to keep them busy!! Debbie and I decided to take the kiddos bowling on Thursday and it was such a good idea. They had a blast. It was each of their first time to bowl, so they had NO idea what to do, but after a few quick coaching lessons from 2 very unprofessional mommies, they got the hang of it and loved it. The hardest part was waiting for their turn!!! Kate won the first game by one point and Charlie beat the girls with flying colors in the second game!!

They gave the kids this little ramp to use.....it helped get their ball down the lane a little faster. You should have seen how slow their balls went without this!!

Yayyyyyy!!

Check out those shoes!!

Charlie had to show us his too.....Kate thinks he's crazy!!

Movies!

So we had a girls day today and went to Reese's very first movie! Mom, Kristen and I took Reese to see Tangled and she LOVED it. I thought for sure she would get antsy and not want to sit through the entire movie, but she didn't. She started off in Mimi's lap and ended up in mine, but she sat through the entire thing and watched it from start to finish. It is such a cute movie, definitely one we will have to buy when it comes on DVD!!

I had to get a picture of Reese in front of the Tangled ad before we left, but it was so bright when we got out of the movies, Reese was squinting terribly......this is the best we could get!!

Christmas Night

We had Christmas with PawPaw and Lala on Christmas night. They came over for dinner and to exchange presents. Again, I was horrible with the camera and didn't get any good pics. By this night, I was EXHAUSTED........people had been coming and going from the house all day and I was so tired I think I forgot I had a camera! Thanks for our gifts PawPaw and Lala......

Merry Christmas!

This was our first Christmas to spend at our house, so it was a little different. Up until this point in my life, I have ALWAYS spent the night at my mom and dad's house and woke up and had Santa there. Well, now that the kids are getting older and the presents are getting bigger, we decided we HAD to have it at our house starting this year. It turned out great.....Mom, Dad and Kristen were at our house bright and early, early enough to see the kids open all their gifts from Santa, and then I cooked a big breakfast for everyone. We were able to stay at home all day and let the kids play with all their new things and just enjoy the day. It was wonderful. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I hate it came and went so fast......

Santa brought them a jump-a-roo for the basement.....it's honestly one of their favorite things on this planet! We have jumped in it everyday since Christmas and it's a GREAT energy outlet for the two of them!!

Merry Christmas Eve!

We always go to my mom and dad's house for Christmas Eve lunch. I did terrible with pictures this year, I didn't get any family shots and I didn't get any shots of the kids together either.....it was just too much excitement and too much wrapping paper! We exchanged gifts with Maci and Mason -- Reese and Charlie adore both of them! As soon as we got to Mimi and Poppa's house, Reese decided she wanted to play dress up and must have changed into 3 or 4 dresses that morning......sorry for the inappropriate outfits -- I choose my battles with her these days and this was not one I wanted to fight. End result......Christmas pictures in ugly, cheap dress up clothes that make me laugh!! Merry Christmas!

The kids watching Christmas Vacation! LOVE that movie!!

Yayyyy, a digger!!

Mason helping Charlie open presents

One of his favorite gifts.....a remote control motorcycle!

Don't you love that she's not only in a horendous outfit, but also that it's falling off her shoulder? Lovely.

A taser gun.....another fave!

We are all into "girly" things right now (in case you haven't caught on!) -- what's Christmas Eve without a pedicure?

Play tent's from my mom's sweet friend Kathy!

Christmas Eve Night

After we went to Church on Christmas Eve, we came back to Mom and Dad's house to exchange Christmas presents with them. It was crazy! Lots and lots of gifts, and lots and lots of wrapping paper EVERYWHERE!! Mom and Dad got Joe and I a new video camera, yayyyyy! The kids got lots of new toys and they love all their stuff. Kristen got them new chairs for their playroom, which have been a big hit. Thank you so much everyone!!
