Mickey's Backyard BBQ

On Thursday night, after a long day at the Magic Kingdom, we rode the ferry over to Fort Wilderness for Mickey's Backyard BBQ. It was so much fun. They had ribs, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, mac-n-cheese, corn on the cob, baked beans, ice cream, and all the traditional "fixins" for a BBQ......they even had beer and wine for mommy and daddy, yayyyyyy! The kids got to sing and dance with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Chip n Dale. Reese has never danced so much in her life. They played all sorts of country music and girl cut a rug like I have never seen! One lady stopped and asked me if she was mine and I replied, "yes," and she said, "wherever your little girl goes, there's going to be a party!" Not sure if I'm happy about that or scared to death?!?!?! Anyways, we had fun and it was another great memory for the kids. Reese had not taken a nap that day in the stroller, so around 7:15 or so she climbed up in my lap, did not say a word, laid her little head down and fell asleep so quickly it kind of scared me. She was O.U.T. It was not long before we headed back to the resort......fun times!!
