It's official!!!

I forgot to post yesterday -- at Reese's check up we weighed Charlie and he is officially bigger than her.....he weighed in at 22lbs even and she is a mere 21lbs 4oz! My dad said, "she'll never catch him now! He'll probably always be bigger than her!!"

My baby is 18 months old....

she has a boo boo on her forehead from where she fell at the zoo this weekend =(

Just look at my sweet baby girl....she is getting so big. Yesterday was her 18mo b'day and today we had her check up. She is oh so healthy and right on track developmentally. She is 21lbs 4oz (that's 30%), and 31" tall (that's 10%), so she is still a little peanut, but her sassiness makes up for it! She would live outside if we would let her, loves stickers, chocolate milk, Mimi's purse, makeup, and is still obsessed with baby dolls and carries her one special baby everywhere we go. She talks ALL the time!! Her favorite things to say are "Charee" (for Charlie), "juice",telling the dogs "no, no, no" while shaking her finger and calling "Scoooo" which is our cat Scooter. She amazes me everday at what she can do and how fast she learns, and she makes me the happiest mommy in the world. I love you sweet baby girl and your mommy and daddy are very proud of you and the little girl you are becoming!!!

Happy Birthday Mommy!!

Monday was my birthday, yayyyyyy!! We went to eat Japanese food with my family and Reese and Charlie LOVED watching all the cooking action. Neither one of them had been before, so it was neat to watch them stare in amazement!!! After dinner we came back to our house for cake and presents......thank you everyone for making my birthday so special!!

This is what Joe and the kids gave me.....it's a stretch canvas of Reese-- I LOOOOOVVVVEEEE it!!! It looks so pretty hanging in my dining room -- and yes, once Charlie is walking, I will get one of him too!!

We're going on a cruise!!!!!

I am sooooo excited! Me, Joe, the kids, my mom, dad and sister are going on a cruise to CocoCay and Nassau, Bahamas and to Key West in September! We have a lot of planning and preparing to do -- Yayyyyyyy, I cannot wait!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

After church today, we went to my mom's house to celebrate Mother's Day. I am so thankful for my mom, and that God gave me two of the most precious babies in the world and made me a mommy. To say we are blessed is an understatement.....

More from the zoo....

Saturday night we went back to the zoo for the "Q at the Zoo" -- a BBQ cook off for a charity event. We had some friends that entered the contest and won 2nd place!! Reese and Charlie had so much fun. Reese rode the carousel over and over and then discovered the splash pad.....her new favorite pastime!! By the end of the night, she was absolutely exhausted!!

It's probably redneck to strip your baby down to their diaper and let them play in the splash pad, but we had no idea this exsisted, so once she saw it, it was either play in her clothes or play in her diaper!!

Zoo Fun

Saturday we went to the zoo with Paul and Rachel and Liz and Weygand. We had such a good time. Reese had sooo much fun. We tied a pink balloon to her, which kept her very happy and content, and it was a good way to keep up with her. Once we got into the zoo she wanted nothing to do with the stroller, and only to walk. With the balloon trailing her everywhere, we knew where she was at ALL times!!!
