At the Lake

We went to the lake this weekend to stay with Pawpaw and Lala. Aunt Carol even came for a visit! We had the CRAPIEST weather ever, but we still had fun. It was so cold on the boat, so we only took it out for a couple of times. Reese and Charlie had lots of fun, and Reese said "boa" everytime she went outside......she loves riding on the boat!

We left Charlie in his PJ's because it was the only thing long sleeved we had!!

My new hobbie......

I have been thinking about getting an embroidery machine for some time now. This weekend, after many hours of begging, Joe finally gave in and got me a sewing/embroidery machine! I am SOOOOOO excited. It is so neat. Here's a picture of my first project (yes Katie.....my first!!) I put the applique of the lizard onto the bib and Charlie's name under it.....well, actually the machine does it all, but I'm taking the credit. I have some software on the way that will do the monograms a lot better -- you can't really see this one that well, but that will all change!! I have so many cute appliques to try out and test, so I will be displaying lots of my "work" in the future!! I am going to even try and learn to sew and make the kids a few things. Thanks Katie for coming over and helping me today -- we had fun!!

Playdate

Katie and Austin came over today to let the boys play and so Katie can help me with my new project. The kiddos did good playing and, as usual, loved the ball pit!!

For Me!!

So for tonight's post I just want you to keep in mind that this blog's ultimate goal is for me to remember all the little things the kids do, special memories, and the small stuff that I will want to one day sit down and look back on and laugh. This is one of those posts that may not be funny to all of you out there, but it CRACKS me up. My sweet little man has a new way of letting me know he is awake and ready to get up from his nap......

He doesn't make a sound, he just lays there with his legs up in the air.....and I love it!!! He will keep them in the air for a really long time too..... I sometimes just sit and watch and laugh. How cute!!!! =)

Wyatt's B'day Party

Sunday we had Wyatt's 1 year old birthday party. Reese and Charlie had such a good time. Wyatt got lots of fun gifts and he LOVED his cupcake! Happy Birthday sweet Wyatt!!!
